Dove Mountain Rotary Says Goodbye to Mary Ann Tatum
Dove Mountain Rotarians said their goodbyes to Charter Member Mary Ann Tatum at a celebration of life at The Highlands on July 20. The event was organized by Mary Ann's daughter, Michelle Barry. Michelle's husband, Philip Barry, read excerpts from Mary Ann's favorite poem, The Vagabond, by Robert Louis Stevenson. Mary Ann and her late husband, Howard, loved to travel, and the poem is about having an unplanned, adventurous life by traveling one road after another. Many of those who attended the event shared memories of Mary Ann, including Mary Feldsien, a friend since childhood. Rotarians wishing to make a gift in Mary Ann's memory may donate to the Howard and Mary Ann Tatum Scholarship Fund. Instructions for donating are on this homepage.
